Over a weekend a leaking water pipe and tank within the roof space of the main building caused extensive flooding to several classrooms, offices, entrance area, the IT Suite and the kitchen.
KMASS were instructed by the school and an immediate plan of action was implemented involving:
1) Isolation of a work area for repairs.
2) Construction of temporary classrooms in the rear playground and temporary toilet facilities to the front garden area.
3) A scope of repairs were identified and builders instructed to proceed.
The work was sequenced so as to allow the school to continue to operate, albeit with some level of inconvenience to the normal routine.
KMASS performed the role of Contract Administrator seeing the work through to completion.
