BSc(Eng) Honours – Batchelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1979)

CEng – Chartered Engineer (1985)

MIStruct E – Corporate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers (1985)

MICE – Corporate member of the Institiution of Civil Engineers (1985)

FFPWS – Fellow of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (2011)

MCIArb – Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (2014)

Aim accredited Commercial Mediator (2013)

Member of the Society of Expert Witnesses (2005)


Ken is regularly engaged as an expert witness by instructing Local Authorities, Solicitors, Insurance Companies, Businesses and private individuals, having given evidence in Court on a number of occasions and reporting on detailed matters in dispute.

Ken is aware of the requirements and provisions within the Civil Procedures Act.

Typical instructions relate to Party Wall disputes, boundary issues, trespass and and damage, contractor, contractual or design defect issues, structural defects including basements and subsidence, and disputes over design fees.

Ken has dealt with claims having vales of, as little as £5,000 to well over £5,000,000.
